Fermented in open fermenters, manually dug out and basket pressed, settled to tank before transferred to one-year-old, 2nd fill 3000 L French Oak Vat. Elevage for a further twenty months.
Sixteenth continual release from vineyard.
Deep rich colour with attractive aromas of dark plums, blue fruits and fruit cake. The palate develops most elegantly, with a rich, powerful texture, opulence without any hint of heaviness, and perfect balance. Drinking beautifully upon release but will reward you with further cellaring.
