Raveneau Petit Chablis Magnum 150cl 2020

This marks the 7th vintage of Petit Chablis Raveneau. Despite being planted as recently as 2010, the grapes from these young vines already yield a remarkably sophisticated wine. Sourced just above the Vaudésir Grand Cru, the terroir covers a flat, windy, and rocky plot of just under a hectare. Exhibits an impressive smoothness reminiscent of lanolin and a supple concentration upon the initial taste, complemented by a waxy texture on the rear palate. Notes of Mirabelles and flax linger into the finish. If tasted without prior knowledge, it would be challenging to categorize this as a Petit Chablis.
