Francois Lumpp Givry Rouge 1er Cru 2021

Due to the frost of the 2021 vintage the Domaine chose to blend three 1er Cru’s together rather than offer very small parcels separately. As a consequence this wine is a blend of 1er Clos du Cras Long, 1er Cru Crausot and 1er Cru Petit Marole.

“Moderate wood frames ripe and agreeably fresh aromas of plum, red and dark raspberry, violet and a lovely array of spice elements. I very much like the texture of the middleweight flavors even though they’re not quite as dense, all wrapped in a refined, stony and highly complex finale.
