Marie Christine has the honour of being the flagship Cru from Chateau de l’Aumerade and in fact has the largest appointed no of vines classified as Cru Classe across all of the Provence appellation. 100% estate grown, vinified and bottled at Chateau de l’Aumerade.

Blend one third Grenache, one third Cinsault and one third Syrah from grapes specifically cultivated for the production of Rose.

The bottle shape was patented in 1955 inspired by famous artist Emile Galle who presented a vase to the Fabre family that inspired the mould.

One of the key aspects of Chateau de l’Aumerade is 100% of the wines are estate grown in a region heavily dominated by negociant wines. A 300 hectare estate of which 90 hectares are classified Cru Classe. The Chateau was established over 400 years ago and still remains family owned by the Fabre’s. Chateau de L’Aumerade is part of an exclusive group of estates that form the Cru Classe of Provence established in 1955 before the AOC was created in 1977. The Cru Classe includes estates such as Chateau de Selle and Clos Mirelle from Domaine Ott.
