Ten Minutes by Tractor Wallis Chardonnay 2025

First planted in 1992 by the Wallis family, this is the first of the estate’s elevated “Up the Hill” sites, sitting between 110 and 142 metres above sea level. One hundred percent P58 clone, handpicked on 7th March 2025 at 4.0 tonnes per hectare.

Whole bunch pressed and settled overnight, then fermented on lees in French oak barriques with indigenous yeast. Occasional light bâtonnage and varied malolactic fermentation across barrels built balance through the élevage. After 11 months in a combination of new (25%) and seasoned French oak, across puncheons and barriques, the wine was lightly filtered and bottled.
