Ten Minutes by Tractor Trahere Pinot Noir 2023

From the high-density Spedding vineyard on Main Ridge, sitting 180 metres above sea level on a due east-facing slope. Three clones purposefully selected for this project, Abel at 45%, Pommard at 36% and Calera at 19%. Higher than average rainfall through the season kept yields low and extended hang time, building greater intensity and drive in the fruit.

Fermented with indigenous yeasts, ten months in barrel with 20% new French oak, natural malolactic fermentation, bottled unfined.

Dark and red fruits with an earthy, savoury backbone. Bright crushed cranberry and spiced black cherry alongside fine tea-like tannins and subtle cedar. Focused and precise, with fresh acidity and integrated structure that speaks clearly of the site.
