Ten Minutes by Tractor Judd Chardonnay 2025

A west-facing site of 30-year-old vines, the Judd Vineyard’s extended daytime sun exposure consistently produces Chardonnay with concentrated fruit and real drive. Yields were low at 2.3 tonnes per hectare, 100% P58 clone, handpicked on 14th March 2025.

Whole bunch pressed and settled overnight before indigenous yeast fermentation on lees in French oak barriques. Minimal malolactic fermentation was a deliberate choice here, preserving the wine’s definition and energy. Eleven months in barrel, 20% new oak, a combination of Austrian and French, lightly filtered before bottling.
