Samuels Gorge Shiraz 2021

Shiraz is deeply woven into the fabric of McLaren Vale, becoming an icon of the region. Sourced from the Seaview Ridge region, along with 10% from Blewitt Springs, across 4 vineyards, with multiple picks.The 2019 vintage, on the back of the drought, gave lower yields, smaller berries and heat thru ripening, thus requiring gentle ferments, with just 10% whole bunch used. Elevage in 20% new French oak, from a selection of coopers for 12-18months.
