Prophet’s Rock Home Vineyard Pinot Noir 2023

Elegant and deeply layered, the 2023 Home Vineyard Pinot Noir reveals dark cherry, plum and dried herbs, framed by fine tannins and subtle savoury complexity. The palate is rich yet refined, with great balance, persistence and purity.

Sourced from the organically certified Home Vineyard in Bendigo, planted between 1999 and 2001, the site sits high on the north-facing slopes of Chinaman’s Terrace. The ancient clay and limestone soils here produce Pinot Noir with remarkable depth and structure.

The grapes were handpicked and destemmed, with wild fermentation and gentle extraction. The wine spent 17 months in French oak (35% new) and was bottled unfined and unfiltered.
