Neldner Road Steinborner Marsanne 2024

From the Vine Vale district of the Barossa Valley at 280 metres altitude, off vines over 20 years old grown on white sand over yellow clay. Hand-picked and whole bunch pressed, then fermented in 40% new and 60% old French oak. Nine months on lees in barrel before racking, cold stabilising and bottling.

Butterscotch, honeyed citrus and stone fruit on the nose, with white florals and apricot kernel. The palate is creamy and textured, with stone fruit, honey and a long finish of white peach and subtle savoury complexity.
