Neldner Road Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2021

Sixty percent Grenache, twenty percent Shiraz and twenty percent Mataro, drawn from the Seppeltsfield, Marananga, Kalimna and Lyndoch districts of the Barossa Valley. Vines averaging 60 years old on dark loam over clay with deep sandy subsoils. Each variety vinified separately in open-top concrete vats before 18 months in 2,300 litre French oak foudre. Bottled without fining or filtration.

Intensely perfumed with cherry liqueur, blackberry compote, spice and anise. The palate is voluptuous and supple, with dark fruits and velvety tannins carrying through to a generous finish.
