Neldner Road Barossa Valley Shiraz 2023

Drawn from the Marananga, Seppeltsfield and Lyndoch districts of the Barossa Valley, from vines averaging 25 years old on dark red-brown sands and red clay. Hand-picked and fermented in open-top concrete vats before basket pressing, then 18 months in large format 4,500 litre French oak foudre. Bottled without fining or filtration.

Generous dark plum and blackberry with notes of tar, graphite and dried herbs. The palate is rounded and supple, with a coffee and cedar backbone and a finish of dark fruit and white pepper spice.
