Mulline Single Vineyard Sutherlands Creek Pinot Noir 2025

From the Strathmore Vineyard in Sutherlands Creek, one of the warmer and drier sites in the Moorabool Valley. Planted across 1998 and 2015 to MV6 and Abel clones, the grey and brown loams over fragmented granite give this Pinot Noir its signature lightness of colour and body. Pomegranate is the calling card of this site, and 2025 is no different.

Hand-picked and fermented with wild yeasts in open vats, with 30% whole bunch inclusion. Nine to twelve days on skins before pressing to oak for natural malolactic fermentation. Thirty percent new French oak, bottled unfined with minimal filtration.

Beautifully fragrant from the start, with red and black fruits, bramble and lifted florals. The palate is gently mouth-filling with silky tannins that make it a pleasure now and a certainty to improve over the next five to seven years.
