Mulline Single Vineyard Sutherlands Creek Chardonnay 2025

From the original heartland of the Geelong region, the Sutherlands Creek vineyard sits in the Moorabool Valley on grey and brown loams over fragmented granite, close planted at 10,000 vines per hectare. Continental in climate and previously a seabed, it is a site with real geological character that consistently delivers a riper, more generous style of Chardonnay.Hand-picked and whole bunch pressed straight to oak with full solids.

Thirty percent underwent malolactic fermentation, with 25% matured in new French and Austrian oak and the balance in seasoned barriques. Eight months in oak before bottling.

Yellow stone fruit, white nectarine and jasmine on the nose, with a soft, textural palate that is both inviting and structured. A Chardonnay that rewards patience but is hard to resist now.
