Mulline Single Vineyard Modewarre Pinot Noir 2023

Discover the elegance of Mulline’s newest single vineyard Pinot Noir from 2023. This wine hails from the cool, coastal region just 20km inland from Torquay, where the unique climate brings out darker fruit characteristics. The grapes are sourced from the Brown Magpie Vineyard in Modewarre, part of the picturesque Surf Coast.

Crafted with care, this Pinot Noir is a blend of four distinct clones, all handpicked and fermented with varying levels of whole bunches, ranging from 0% to 100%. The wine undergoes natural fermentation in French oak barrels, with 25% of the oak being new, and is then aged for 8 months.

The result is a wine that’s both delicate and complex, with notes of boysenberry, strawberry, and red cherry complemented by subtle spices and cedarwood. It’s a wine that can be enjoyed now or cellared for future enjoyment.
