Mulline Single Vineyard Drysdale Pinot Noir 2024

From a more sheltered site in Drysdale, this Pinot Noir reflects the darker, more generous side of the Bellarine. Grown on sandy loam and yellow clay, the fruit was destemmed and wild fermented, then matured in French oak (20% new) for 9 months. Aromas of black cherry, clove and earth lead into a plush, textural palate with soft spice and coastal freshness.

“From the Leech vineyard planted in ’98. MV6 clone, fully destemmed and 15% new wood. A deep, bright crimson purple. Brooding with aromas of morello cherry, black plums and some rose bush and hedgerow scents, despite there being no whole bunches!
