Marion Amarone della Valpolicella 2020

A benchmark expression of Amarone that balances power with remarkable elegance. Marion’s vineyards sit outside the Classico zone, on calcareous soils that naturally lend freshness and poise — a defining reason this Amarone is so often praised for its refinement.

Made exclusively from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, the grapes are harvested early to preserve natural acidity, then air-dried for 8 to 10 weeks in the family’s purpose-built fruttaio. Fermentation follows the traditional 100% appassimento method, before the wine is aged for 36 months in large Slavonian oak botti, with a small portion resting in older tonneaux.
