La Bastide Blanche Bandol Blanc 2019

The white blend of Bastile Blanche is the smallest production made by the estate and all from the limestone soils of La Bastide Blanche vineyard. The blend predominantly exists from of Clairette Blanc and Ugni blanc, where the vines are an average age of 45 years old. A small percentage of Bourbelenc complete the blend. The vinification happens in tank and is placed into barrel for a few months to promote micro oxidization. Some lees stirring takes place to create mouthfeel and texture.
