L.A.S. Vino Pirate Blend 2023

One of only two such vineyards in the region. Sourced from a 40-year-old, dry-grown vineyard in Yallingup, the blend of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Cão and Souzão delivers perfume, depth and natural structure in equal measure.

The 2023 vintage benefited from warm, even conditions, allowing for balanced ripening and clarity of flavour. Hand-picked fruit was carefully sorted, then matured for 18 months in barrique, softening the tannins and knitting the wine together beautifully.

Ruby red in the glass, it shows sweet spice, plum, blueberry and dark chocolate, with silky tannins and an exotic, lingering finish. Bold yet refined, this is a wine that stands confidently apart from the mainstream.
