“The 2023 Saint-Romain Sous Le Velle has a well-defined nose with lemon, Granny Smith and wet pavement scents that gain intensity in the glass, though it’s never powerfully aromatic. The palate is lively on the entry with Clementine and peach skin notes. Certainly spicier than the Perrières, this has quite a complex finish with fine length.
