From the same 60-year-old vineyard in San Rocco, Alba as the Dolcetto, this Barbera comes from old, low-yielding clones planted on white calcareous soils at altitude. Careful vineyard timing is key here, capturing Barbera’s natural vibrancy while keeping balance and restraint.

Fermented naturally with 50% whole bunches and gentle hand plunging, the wine is aged for nine months in seasoned oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered. The 2024 shows dark cherry, blackberry and subtle spice, with Barbera’s signature bright acidity, a savoury edge and a poised, medium-bodied frame.
