Fletcher Barbaresco ‘Faset’ DOCG 2023

Faset is David Fletcher’s most structured and densely fruited single vineyard Barbaresco, sharing the same celebrated soil as Asili, Rabaja and Rio Sordo. Picked slightly later than neighbouring crus, it consistently delivers the greatest concentration and weight of any wine in the Fletcher range. In David’s own words, “”more Barolo than Barbaresco.””

Highly aromatic with classic tar and roses, this is a wine built for the cellar as much as the table. One hundred percent destemmed, open fermented and aged for twenty-four months in seasoned three hundred litre barrels, three times the legal minimum. Three months in bottle before release.
