Eleni & Edouard Vocoret Chablis Les Pargues 2023
$120.00
“From a tiny 0.4-hectare parcel on the hill just south of Montmains, this site shares the same prized exposition while bringing its own personality. The 36–38 year old vines grow on classic Kimmeridgian soils rich in limestone, giving a wine of brightness, cut, and mineral depth.
Wild fermentation in steel and 12 months’ élevage in seasoned barriques (6–30 years old) add subtle texture without masking the precision of fruit. Expect crisp citrus, orchard apple, and a distinct saline edge that speaks clearly of Chablis terroir.
“…better typicity to the aromas of Granny Smith apples, lemon zest and iodine… racy, delicious and detailed medium weight flavors… balanced, dry and more complex finale.” – OUTSTANDING – TOP VALUE, Burghound”
