“Sitting just below 1er Cru Chapelot on Montée de Tonnerre and only metres from Grand Cru Blanchot, Le Bas proves that “village” Chablis can rival its famous neighbours. The south-west exposure and clay-limestone soils give the wine extra richness and depth, while the 40+ year old vines bring intensity and character.

Wild-fermented in steel and matured for 12 months in seasoned barriques, this Chablis shows the hallmark Vocoret style – bright citrus and orchard fruit, layered texture, and a long mineral finish. A superb introduction to the domaine, approachable young yet structured enough to cellar for several years.
