“Part of the famed Montmains 1er Cru, Les Butteaux sits alongside Montmains itself and La Forêt, at the very tip of the Cru. Vocoret farms just 0.52 hectares, split across two parcels of 60+ year old vines with a southeast exposure. This results in wines that Edouard Vocoret describes as “straighter and more austere,” showing precision and a deep mineral backbone.

Fermented with wild yeasts in steel and aged for 12 months in older barriques, this Chablis 1er Cru balances richness with purity. Expect bright citrus and orchard fruits layered over classic Chablis minerality, delivering a wine both powerful and finely etched, with strong ageing potential.
