Domaine Filliatreau Saumur Champigny Rouge 2020

The first cuvee produced by the estate and the one that has made the sucess of the estate. It is easy to drink young, although this wine is often charming a few years later. Can be kept between 3 and 5 years.

Sourced from a mosaic of parcels owned by the Domaine located around the small village of Chaintres and in the towns of

Dampierre sur Loire, Varrains and Chacé (south-east of Saumur). Vines are an average age of 35 years old planted on the classic top

soil of Clay with Tuffeau limestone underneath. Picked, destemmed and fermented in tank. 10 months elevage in tank, no oak.
