The second wine of the esteemed Château Canon, Croix Canon comes from its own dedicated 11-hectare vineyard, formerly Château Matras Grand Cru Classé. Located between Château Canon and Château Angélus, the site sits on alluvial soils over limestone erosion — a distinct terroir in its own right, with no fruit declassified from the Grand Vin.

Crafted with the same precision as Château Canon and vinified at the historic La Chapelle de Mazerat, the 2017 blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc shows both structure and finesse. The vintage offers freshness and balance, delivering classic Right Bank charm with polished tannins and layered depth.
