Cascina Delle Monache Bricco della Lodra 2024

From a single west-facing vineyard planted in 2016, Bricco della Lodra is made entirely from Dolcetto, one of Piedmont’s most characterful native varieties. Bricco refers to the vineyard’s highest point, while Lodra (local for “lark”) pays homage to the bird that nests among its vines.

Hand-picked fruit is partly fermented as whole clusters and gently macerated for 15 days in concrete before ageing in stainless steel. The result is a vibrant Piedmont red wine, bright and juicy with the lively freshness that defines modern Dolcetto.
