Cantina Calcagno Etna Rosso 2022

A blend of Nerello Mascalese (80%) and Nerello Cappuccio (20%) from the northern slopes of Etna, grown on stony, mineral-rich volcanic soils. The young bush vines (up to 30 years old) produce a red full of energy and character.

Bright and savoury with notes of wild cherry, blood orange and spice, it’s elegant yet earthy, showing all the typicity of Nerello Mascalese grown on lava soils. A brilliant introduction to Etna’s unique style.
