Ca’Marcanda Vistamare Vermentino Toscana IGP 2025

The only white wine produced at Ca’Marcanda, and a quietly spectacular one. Vistamare means sea view, and the vineyard earns the name, sitting on a hillside in Bibbona overlooking the Tyrrhenian coastline, just outside the Bolgheri DOC boundary. Seventy percent Vermentino, twenty percent Fiano and ten percent Viognier, each variety vinified separately before blending and six months élevage.

Pale yellow with green highlights, the nose is layered and aromatic, with white spice, medicinal herbs, yellow flowers and fresh pineapple, with a light smoky nuance and well-integrated vanilla. The palate is crisp and medium-bodied, with good length and a clean, savoury finish of green almond.
