A benchmark Australian skin-contact white, Brad Hickey’s Amphora on Skins Zibibbo is sourced from the Bassham Vineyard in the Riverland and fermented naturally on skins in terracotta amphora for six months. Protected under flor and bottled unfined, it’s a true expression of texture and balance.
Dry yet aromatic, it shows apricot, lemon myrtle, elderflower and wild honey, layered with white pepper, ginger and mandarin peel. The palate is textural and gently grippy, with a chalky, savoury edge that makes it one of the most refined and approachable orange wines in Australia.
