Brash Higgins Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Structured, powerful and deeply expressive, the 2021 CBSV is a classic McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon reimagined with restraint and precision. Sourced from estate-grown, certified organic fruit planted in 1997 on shallow sandstone soils, this is the serious side of Brash.

Fermented wild in open vats with 20 days on skins, the wine was aged for 20 months in French oak (20% new), allowing the structure to build without overpowering the fruit.

In the glass, it’s all graphite, cassis, dried herbs and sea spray, with chewy tannins and a savoury undertone that grounds the wine. There’s a floral lift up front and a long, salty finish that lingers like a coastal breeze.
