Mezzo offers cool climate wines at a warm climate price, delivering quality at an accessible price point. Sourced from the Limestone Coast, a cool-to-moderate climate wine district renowned for its unique terra rossa soils. Mezzo benefits from the region’s ideal growing conditions similar to those in the Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula.

The name Mezzo, meaning “middle” or “half”, reflects the Limestone Coast’s location roughly halfway between Melbourne and Adelaide and honours the Italian families who have shaped the region’s viticultural heritage.

Crafted by winemakers Keeda Zilm and Luke Broadbent Mezzo wines have no acidification and only use ‘real barrels’ for any oak maturation. Eyebrow raising considering the wine’s price point. The label design pays tribute to the iconic terra rossa over limestone soils that define the district’s character.
