Edoardo Dottori
Described by Gambero Rosso as “the young professor producing one of the finest Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi”, Edoardo Dottori is one of the most exciting voices in modern Italian wine. Based in Maiolati Spontini, at the heart of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi in Marche, Dottori is part of a new generation redefining Italy’s less fashionable regions through precision, integrity and deep respect for terroir.
With an academic background in agriculture, Edoardo champions organic farming, native yeasts and minimal intervention. His vineyards sit on limestone rich soils scattered with ancient marine fossils, with north facing exposures that preserve freshness and tension.
His benchmark wines, including Colle Bianco and Kochlos, are a world away from the Verdicchio stereotypes of the past. They are structured, mineral and quietly powerful wines, built to age and to showcase the true potential of Verdicchio at its finest.
