Samuel’s Gorge

Justin McNamee

The winery and cellar door of Samuels Gorge sits atop of a ridge, overlooking the spectacular Onkaparinga River National Park to the north and to the south the ocean. It’s here, housed in a historic farm shed built in 1853, that winemaker Justin McNamee has created his ‘mosaic of dreams’. The very essence of his philosophy is people and place. A passion for Grenache sourced from the highly regarded sandy sub region of Blewitt Springs has helped Samuel’s Gorge firmly position themselves as one of the best producers of this variety in particular.
