‘LA COMMENDA’ CHIANTI DOCG 2018
Bottle Shot

La Commenda is a named place in the estate. 100% ‘fruit tannin’, no oak used in fermentation or elevage. 90% of Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet/Merlot. Fermented in tank and concrete. 9 months aged before bottling. This parcel was over 18 months before bottling as the last of the vintage. This wine just personifies Chianti for me, touch of Tomato leaf, Tomato skin, Roasted tomato, notes of sage, dried herbs.
