Edoardo Dottori is a rising star hailing from Maiolati Spontini, in the heart of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, Marche.
From the next generation of exciting Italian’s working to change the image of some of Italy’s less trendy regions and we love him for it. A far cry from the amphora shaped bottles of yesteryear, albeit I confess do secretly love those curvaceous bottles along with a good wicker basket fiasco…It’s surely going to be in fashion again soon? 🙂

Academically trained in agriculture he champions organic practices, wild ferments and terroir expression,  limestone-rich soils, sea-born fossils, north-facing exposures.  His flagship wines like Colle Bianco and Kochlos exhibit age-worthy structure, mineral backbone and clarity.
